Ultra Violet Designs takes nature and turns it into thread.

Using a technique called thread painting or sculptural embroidery, the creator behind the artwork, Andréa, uses a sewing machine to 'draw' her designs by hand on a water soluble fabric, which then washes away to leave delicate thread designs.

A lover of wildflowers, the ocean and dogs, Andréa is inspired by many things, including her time living in Exmouth and the unique flora of Western Australia.
