What happens when a forgotten vinyl record meets a splash of colour and a whole lot of pride? It becomes a show-stopping functional artwork!
Every Handmade Pride clock starts its journey as an unwanted vinyl record, often rescued from a dusty garage or the corner of an op-shop. Instead of ending up in landfill, it gets a makeover in Handmade Pride’s studio.
Using various fluid art techniques, each record receives a hand-poured design to create totally unpredictable patterns. Because of the fluid nature of the acrylic paints, no two are ever the same – and that’s just part of the magic!
Once the paint has dried, each artwork is finished with clear resin to make the colours pop. Then, each record is fitted with silent sweeping clock mechanism and a hook, and it’s officially a functional artwork!
This clock isn’t just practical – it’s a conversation starter. It’s the perfect mix of art and function, and celebrates individuality, sustainability and pride in yourself.
